Maternal Wellbeing

Our Maternal Wellbeing service supports women through the emotional, physical, and practical changes of pregnancy, early parenthood, and beyond.

Within the first six weeks after birth, mothers can access Bulk-Billed postnatal care with our Endorsed Midwife as often as needed, with no referral required.

You can book at any time for guidance, reassurance, or support as you adjust to life with your newborn.

Our midwife provides compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe, understanding, and judgement-free space.

Sessions may include support for postnatal adjustment, emotional wellbeing, breastfeeding, sleep routines, settling, and maternal recovery.

For mothers seeking continued or extended support beyond the initial six-week period, we also offer privately funded sessions with our multidisciplinary team for perinatal, parenting, and general maternal wellbeing, still with no GP referral needed.

At Alevia Health, we understand that every journey into motherhood is unique.

Our goal is to make high-quality, compassionate care accessible, flexible, and available when you need it most.

Additional Support for Post Natal Mental Health

For mothers experiencing more complex emotional or psychological challenges, such as postnatal depression, anxiety, or trauma, our registered psychologists are available to provide additional care and therapy.

These sessions are available via secure Telehealth and can be bulk billed under a GP Mental Health Care Plan or rebated through private health insurance.

Our psychologists work closely with our midwife and allied health team to ensure coordinated, holistic support during the postnatal period.

Whether you need short-term guidance or ongoing therapeutic support, Alevia Health offers a compassionate, integrated approach to help you navigate the transition into motherhood with confidence and care.

Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, every journey is different.

If you’re feeling low, anxious, or disconnected, please remember - you’re not alone, and you don’t have to go through it alone 💗
